Ruth Borgobello, Director

Ruth Borgobello is a writer/director for film, advertising and television. Ruth’s debut feature film, THE SPACE BETWEEN was Australia’s candidate for Best Foreign Language Film this year at the 2018 Academy Awards. The film has screened at several international film festivals including the 2018 Palm Springs Film Festival and Rome International Film Festival. 

A Victorian College of the Arts graduate in Directing for Film & TV, Ruth's other directing work includes cinema advertising campaigns for Friuli Venezia Giulia Tourism and commercial work for brands such as Alfa Romeo. She is the creator of several TV Series currently in development and attached to direct THE GOD PARTICLE, an original 8-part TV Series in collaboration with John and Dan Edwards at Rough Diamond.

Davide Giusto, Producer

Davide Giusto is Italian by birth, Australian by nature. Originally a well renowned chef in Melbourne, he moved into producing over ten years ago, playing a critical role in the realisation of THE SPACE BETWEEN, the very first Australian/Italian feature film co-production in collaboration with Italian powerhouse, Ideacinema. 


Davide also has a degree in International Relations and a Masters in Entrepreneurship from Monash University, He has a strong passion and instinct for realising creative projects across diverse platforms and cultures.

Scilla Mantovani, Stylist/Art Director

Scilla Mantovani has worked as a set stylist and art director for film, advertising and photography for over thirty years. She has worked with leading Italian design firms including Moroso, Foscarini, Arte Luce, Arper and Flos and Marc Jacobs, Milan. She was the Art Director on this year's Australian Oscar candidate THE SPACE BETWEEN. See Scilla's video work here.

Marco Covi, Photographer

A leading Italian photographer for over 20 years, Marco Covi has shot photographic campaigns for many travel and current affairs reportages in Italy and Northern Europe. He has worked for many important architectural firms and magazines, communication agencies and industries mainly operating in the field of design. Since 2007, he has enjoyed a steady collaboration with the Mondadori Publishing House. In 2015 he was charged by Mondadori for the official photo campaign of Expo 2015 in Milan. Since 2016, he has also worked as a professor of Digital Photography in the Academy of Fine Arts in Udine, Italy. Check out Marco’s portfolio here.
